The Big Day his nearly here, and we can’t wait to see you all in Padstow! We’ve included some additional details and reminders below to help you plan for the weekend.
Friday Evening
After dinner, around 8 p.m., we expect to stop by the Old Custom House in the center of Padstow for a drink. If you fancy meeting up after your journey in to celebrate (or mourn) our final night of singledom, we would love to see you there!
Saturday

- St. Petroc’s Church dates to the 1400s. Learn more about its history.
Our ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. at St. Petroc’s Church. Another wedding is scheduled for 1 p.m., so if you arrive too early you might get a two-for-one. (Although, we’re not sure how the other couple would feel about that!)
The reception will take place immediately following the ceremony just a short walk from the church at Prideaux Place. (See map below).
Important note: Parking is very limited at the church, and no parking is available at Prideaux Place. If you are driving to the ceremony, we encourage you to walk from one of the car parks in town. Link Road or Long Stay are the best options.
About those carriages. The evening ends at 12.30 a.m. Some guests (the Americans) have asked what was meant by ‘carriages’ on the invitation. It means that is the time to say farewell. If you’ll need a taxi, book in advance. You can find options here.
Sunday
We look forward to welcoming you to brunch on Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Metropole Hotel. We plan an informal barbecue, complete with lawn games and, of course, the Wimbledon final.
